I went to a Christmas shop today!

There is Christmas shop a few miles from where I live which opens for a weeks a year. I heard on the radio this morning that it was now open so my friend and I, rather excitedly, popped down to get a few Christmassy bits!

I think everyone within a 50 mile radius was there too as it was their 1st day open today! The queues to pay were miles long. We stood in a queue for 10 minutes and it didn't move an inch so we abandoned our baskets with the intention of returning when it's not their 1st day of the season!

I was so excited about going and they play Christmas music and everything!!!

Oh I wanna go!!

Just outside Newport, South Wales.

I have to say though, the pictures on the website must be from their trade-show stands because it is a lot more warehouse-like in RL than the showroom-style in the pics!! - BUT, it's still very Christmassy and some great bargains!!!

We have one of these in Chichester near where we live its great

It's not ages away because my Christmas shop is open!!

Mamo - I'd love one that's open all year round! We go abroad to stay with my Dad every couple of years and there is a Christmas shop there. It's a strange feeling though - 30degree heat, February and lots of Christmas tat delights all around!!

I always have to have a peruse around the Lechlade one and always end up buying some new decorations
