ds 4 loves lego, has a big box of the starter stuff . I would like to start a lego city collection, which of the products do you reccomend as a start? and any offers around at the moment?

DD (4) also loves lego, she has a small lego city sea plane which she can build herself now, I think they are fairly cheap anyway. I would start with the smaller kits first as they can learn to them themselves (with help at first). She does have a larger petrol tanker which she chose, but she gets frustrated at not being able to do it all.

Daily Mirror are giving away free lego every day until 3rd november or collect 8 vouchers and pay £8.99 P and P. It's not all Lego City but still good. The lego minifigures £1.99 in Argos are a good pcket money buy. We have a lot of Lego City ( nearly all of it). Favourites are the farm and the campervan is just ace.

Don't forget to sign up for a Lego VIP card. It's a reward card and you can redeem points against future purchases. All purchases through October gain double points.
