Ok with the whole new jammas on xmas eve thing. Was wondering about setting up bathroom with bubbles and colouring in the water, high up candles, nice music, a couple of wee choccies and just make it a real yummy night in for them...but oldest is 6 and youngest is 18mths...would they love it or would it be wasted until they are older and just stick with the find the jammas on your pillow when you get ready for bed routine??

I think that's a really nice idea - my girls love having candlelit baths, though they're a bit older (7 and 5).

THey would love it - I had a candlelit bath with a 2m/o and he loved looking at the light, so 18m/o would really love it :)

thanks for answering, though the idea might get shot down...can't wait I pretty much know my ds will love it, dd will prob just eat the bubbles but hey ho.

Sounds fab to me, my dd's wouldn't stay still long enough (dd1 likes to pretend to be swimming in the bath & dd2 flaps a lot), but I'd love to do it

I love that idea!!! Will do that for my two - just set a reminder on my phone for christmas eve to remind me!

what a fab idea, think I'll do this for my 13 year old DD, wish I'd thought of it earlier (doubt her older brother would be interested - but hey, who knows!)

I think you should start now - your older child will remember it and the younger one will enjoy the moment.

You could also get some of those window stickers to put on the bathroom window? NOt sure if you meant bubbles in the water or bubbles to blow but blowing bubbles might be nice too? Cross now I hadn't thought of this when mine were little - well done you!
