Help needed - Idea's for Xmas gift's for friends

Last year I made up some gift bags for my sister and 4 friends. I decorated the bags and in them I put: (loosely based on a girls night in theme)

A pink coloured trashy novel

Pink bubble Bath

Large tube of pink smarties

Rose wine

Pink soap

Face mask

Pink slipper socks

Pink lipstick

intensive hair conditioner

a lip care box set (yes the box was pink!)

I shredded tissue paper - and over all was really pleased with them !! I am looking to something similar this year but don't want to put the same stuff in ....does anyone have a 'theme' or ideas of what I could do this year. I think i spent about £17 on each one last year.

Lovely idea. Are your sister and friends all quite similar in style and tastes? If not especially you could make them each more personal with a theme of something personal to each of them.
A friend did something similar for my birthday last year, all foodie treats that she'd bought or made, and the homemade items were in really gorgeous dishes and jars as she'd bought them in charity shops, all coordinating with duck egg blue to match my new kitchen.

Oh that's a nice idea - I think I would appreciate that but I am not sure any of my friends would !! They are all fairly girlie but none of them have any particular hobbies!!

maybe do the opposite and do girls night out?

I think it's a lovely idea. Friend once gave me a chocolate themed hampber, chocolates (obviously!); hot chocolate & mug; chocolate scented candle etc.

Or you could do a fruit themed one e.g. orange could include Bucks Fizz; orange candle; chocolate orange; orange nailvarnish/orangey lipgloss??

I once got a cake making hamper kit thing, with cake tins, recipe book of sweet things, packets of flour, posh vanilla extract, vanilla sugar, measuring spoons, etc.
