DS is three and happens to love pink. Not worried, it's a nice bright colour. His sister's toys are mainly pink and hold a special allure because they have always been taken away from him as being too small / choking hazards.

He also likes animals. Farm animals especially.

I bought DD (aged 10) a fleecy sleep-suit from Primark which is pink and has sheep on it. For a laugh. She is wearing it around the house and takes it off when she goes to bed.

DS is besotted with it Grin and drags it downstairs and hides it in the corner of the sitting room every morning.

Shall I get him some pink sheep sleepwear of his own for Christmas?

I think there are pics of him on my profile. It would really suit him. Not sure what the ILs will think but there you go.

ahh, do it. Just think of his little happy face on Christmas day. How cute.

My DS2 loves pink and dresses up in DD's clothes all the time, ILs make a lemon face and we just enjoy his innocence :)

Tippychoocks · 01/10/2010 13:25

Why on earth not? Bet he looks lovely.

ILs obviously have ishoos if they object to a colour forgoodnesssakes.

MistsAndMellow · 01/10/2010 14:09

Cheers! I am going to get him the pink sleep-suit with silver stars too.

ILs aren't bad at all but they might be a bit Hmm. So would my parents to be honest but I give nary a toss.

Jj I hope your DS has lots of fun with his styling head bless him Smile

If you go back 100 years the convention was pink for boys and blue for girls so why not let him have whatever colour he wants. And as for the hairdressing head... plenty of the top hairdressers are men.
