i'm doing really well with my christmas present organisation this year but am really stuck on what to get my DH. i was hoping you guys could give me some ideas?
some info about him - he is 35, his work is his hobby (planes!) travels with work occasionally, likes photography and his iphone!
please help! budget is usually around the £20-40 mark but could be more or less! he loves tablet so i'm going to make him some home-made tablet (which i will also give to all the others in the family!) and i've seen an advert on 'iwantoneofthose' for a little stand for his iphone for £5, but that's it so far. help!!

I'm stuck too. Only thing I can think of for my DH is a rolling bag thing to transport his parachute rig. Not very exciting really.

I always have difficulty thinking of what to get for my dh too.

But this year, I am planning on getting him the Kindle from Amazon ( ebook reader).
He does travel for work so he could really take this reader everywhere.

It is quite pricey though. You can get it for £109 or with 3G for £149 from Amazon.

I have just got one for myself to test out and I think its brillant as it can upload over 3500 books and you can buy books really cheaply from Amazon rather than the paper/hard backs. Also, they take up less space at home.

I am also getting him a fly zapper (tennis racket sort) to kill the flies we have in the house during the summer. They are very annoying.

My DH is getting some new Oakley sunglasses, as his current pair are now getting a bit battered. They're about £80-100 but he's had his current pair since Dec 1997, so good value for money.

Would like something else but not thought any more about it yet.

For the record, and because I haven't told anyone yet, I'm having an iPad as a joint birthday/Christmas gift. Woop woop!!!

Just looking thru the Book People catalogue and there is a book there called the Complete Photographer for £6.99 - 160 pages.

Your hubby may like that.

OldLadyKnowsNothing · 29/09/2010 22:42

I'm getting DH a burial plot.

It's Ok, we've discussed it. Grin

He wants Guitar Hero on the PS3, although as he doesn't play computer games i think this might just be a rouse to get me to fix the PS3 so he doesn't fel like he has wasted his money buying it. Especially since we have a wii, which works, so he could get Guitar Hero for the Wii.

Have absolutely no idea!

But probably something for the motorbike!

DH and I bought each other an acre of rainforest from www.worldlandtrust.org last Christmas. £50 an acre, or £25 for 2000 square metres. The land is then owned in perpetuity by world land trust, and thus protected and all its wildlife from being destroyed. Sir David Attenborough is a patron.

We didn't know what to get each other, and so this seemed a good idea, although we did stockings for each other as well.

mummynoseynora · 03/10/2010 21:11

Is it bad to admit that I haven't even thought about what to get DH?!?!?! I have bought LOADS already for the kids in the family and started on some of the adults... he hasn't even popped up on my radar yet - poor bloke!
