A decent washbag for my dad as a present to open on xmas day. He does a lot of travelling & the one he has is an old tatty one that actually belonged to my mam's best friend years ago!

I'm going to get him some kind of gift experience as well but would like him to have something to open.

My budget is up to a tenner but preferably less & preferably that I can pick up in the shops rather than online so I don't have to pay postage. I'm not finding much at the moment & thought someone might have a suggestion for somewhere I've not been yet

tefal · 28/09/2010 19:16

boots always have them or try ebay? M&S?

lucysmam · 28/09/2010 19:20

No worries MrsD, if I wasn't already getting him an experience present then that'd be perfect but I will keep it in mind as my dp may be losing his job so it may just be one decent present each this year.

I didn't think of M&S tefal, I walked past there today as well with my dd, will pop in next week when I go to town.

Ikea do great men's one that has a hanging hook - not sure if you're near an IKEA or could get someone to pick one up?
£1.49

DH has this one £4.99

lucysmam · 29/09/2010 11:41

I'm nowhere near an Ikea & the only person I know who ever goes there is my dad.

Unless someone on here could pick me one up & post it on?

Do you have an M & S outlet near you lucysmam? They have last years stock at much reduced prices. I'm a great fan, DH and I often get things at half the original price. I got him a good quality leather belt for his Christmas stocking last year that was originally £19.99 reduced to £11.99. There are things like toiletry packs, cufflinks, ties, and laptop bags as well.

MentalFloss · 29/09/2010 14:41

I know its slightly over your budget but quite nice
this is also nice and it qualifies for free delivery

nickschick · 29/09/2010 14:43

My dh recently asked me to get him a new washbag - I got him a v practical one from the local chemist for £1.99.....is there such a thing as a designer wash bag???

IAPJJLPJ · 29/09/2010 15:42

why don't you have a look at boots, bhs or m&s when they have their 3 for 2 offers.

lottiejenkins · 29/09/2010 15:46

I got my ds a nice one in poundland!!!

lucysmam · 29/09/2010 19:46

Really lottie? I'm always wandering in there for odd bits, will have a look. Also, yep we have an M&S outlet near us so will go there as well, my dd's always happy to go on a random bus journey so we'll do it one day after nursery.

Mental, your second link may be the winner if I don't find something else soon.

I want to be all done & dusted pressy wise apart from my dp by the end of October
