Oh my house smells like Christmas!

I have just finished Jarring up my Mincemeat for the Christmas Pies, all i need to do is the Cranberry Chutney (which i cant do until Cranberries come into season) then im all done for my pre Christmas preserves. :D
All the Chutneys and Pud are done and looking very nice in thier little hats and pretty labels.

My house smells like Christmas!

May only be August but I've seen wrapping paper and crackers in the shops so its fine to get excited about Christmas

Do you have a decent mincemeat recipe? if so can you post it, I have one but it isn't that great.

I use Delias its the only relaible one i have found.

However i play about with the dried fruits, always keep to the quantity but add in things like dried Cherries and Figs or dried Blueberries and Cranberries.
