Thank you for sharing.

I forgot what was even in this thread and that I posted it.
I just listeneded to your song choices and I have saved some.

I thought I would add the direct link to the first one of yours to make it easier for people to find. The Firm Foundation song by Cody Carnes is strong to me. I love the generations element to it as well and it is a lovely revival song for the Spirit. It is stirring.

This is beautiful

Isaiah 53
Sons of Korah

The prophecy of Isaiah 53 (written 700 before our Lord’s incarnation) relates primarily to His first coming and His obedient submission to His Father’s will as the Suffering Servant.

When He returns it will be as the victorious King and Judge, to establish His physical rule and reign on earth.

This prophecy of David (written 300 years before Isaiah) recorded in Psalm 110 speaks of His Second Coming.

The LORD said to my Lord,
“Sit at My right hand, till I make Your enemies Your footstool.”

The LORD shall send the rod of Your strength out of Zion. Rule in the midst of Your enemies! Your people shall be volunteers in the day of Your power;

In the beauties of holiness, from the womb of the morning, You have the dew of Your youth. The LORD has sworn and will not relent, “You are a priest forever
According to the order of Melchizedek.”

The Lord is at Your right hand;
He shall execute kings in the day of His wrath. He shall judge among the nations, He shall fill the places with dead bodies, He shall execute the heads of many countries.

He shall drink of the brook by the wayside; therefore He shall lift up the head.

This falls under Christian media. I was thinking about the Youth for Christ magazine that I used to recieve at times in my youth and I reallly liked it. I was surprised to find something so good like that still going when I looked them up.

Perhaps if anyone has any children in this age bracket now they may want to look into ito if to get the magazine sent to them. I am not quite sure how the magazine is sent today, wether email or post, but it is one to look over at least

I do like this song as well, this Little Light of Mine has given has really spoken to me at times and helped and given me a boost. The song is called This little light of mine and it is about using the gifts and our talents that have been given to us and sharing them with the world. It is on Youtube. So, I thought it was worth mention of its own and especially in view of the Parables thread and the Parable of the Lampstand and the Parable of the Talents mentioned in that thread.

Would like to listen to some new songs as well.

This slots under media

Yesterday I stumbled on when looking for a book that I read at 17 that I want to read again. I found what looked like a treasure trove of information by someone else who started a website back in 2007 on Christianity. There was basic information which can be read.

The section on personal stories I would say it is difficult to find again in this generation.

The Way website
Stories

General Information
The Messages section may be useful for some who want a general 101 information on things.

I simply must link this as well, a woman's story of healing from 1981 which is difficult to find again in this generation.
Miracle in the mirror

Also those who are coming to Christianity from another faith then Gulshan Esther's book the Torn Veil perhaps may be of interest to some.

Sometimes my inspiration is drawn from somewhere a little bit different, but still adds up to the same thing. Just yesterday this helped to give me a boost to watch it again. I cried the first time I watched it. Yesterday I thought of God as that dad helping his child to get to the end, and may that be. I also like to watch Monica Seles playing back in the day hitting from the base line and letting that big grunt of hers with all the force that she had, and that is me driving out what needs to be ejected in my life as well.

This is just the Derek Redmond. Hope some of you enjoy it.

Hi all, I thought I would create this post. Last week at church I attended a church group during Lent that is on different topics. Last week the topic was on How to love ourselves as Christians. I really wanted to listen to this topic and I thought it was really important to me as I struggle in this area quite a bit at times. As a neurodiverse person as well and having other conditions I can struggle as well like if I feel I slip up due to a sensory meltdown and it affects my behaviour and I may feel I fall short and can find it harder to love myself at those times and to forgive myself.

I did ask a question about loving ourselves with conditions towards the end and mentioned about autism around 27 minutes in but the entire video may be helpful still to some people. The Bill Bailey exhibition sounds quite interesting to me as well and the person mentioned also. They did give me permission to record this as well.

Also, was mentioned about Psalm 139 which I love about how God knows all our ways. Isaiah 43 was mentioned also how we are called by name from God and that we all are important to God. I wanted to say as well just a few days ago a thought came to my mind and said-we will separate you from your conditions as I feeling a bit downcast from an overwhelming episode and that today really reassured me that God will separate us from our conditions to judge us.

I am still going listen to the video which I created for the church.

Anyway, I hope some of you do enjoy the video.

Hi everyone, I wrote this post today and it is light and good for the time of the year and I thought I would share it with you as it is light and a nice booster for the colder months. The post is about how God has looked after me in my life through the Gifts of the Holy Spirit and given me a Cinderella ride.
