The shoe fitting lady said his knees come together a bit when he walks, and indeed now I look at him he does go over a bit at the ankle.

Shoe fitting lady said that in her experience doctors won't do anything until they're out of nappies.

Anyone any ideas what to do? Just planning in advance really.

We were advised to see a gp about dd's floppy left foot by a shoe assistant when she was 2. It took me ages to get round to it, but when we did her referred her to orthotics and she has been given some custom fit insoles to support her feet better. They won't cure her arches, but will prevent her from doing any harm. Interestingly we walked to the shop yesterday in her crocs without the insoles and she complained of sore legs and wanted to get back into her start rites with the insoles in which she says are very comfy. That would have been previously unheard of - she worships her crocs! She is 3 and a half now.
