5 year old frequent trips to the toilet

Hello - my 5 year old son is going to the toilet for a wee too much. Just now, before bed he went three times in 10 minutes. It's been going on about a week but only during the day. We have recently stopped using night time pull ups, and he's sleeping in pants. To avoid him having a wet bed, we take him for a wee at 11pm ish which has been working.

So the problem is only ocurring during the day. He's well in himself. Isn't drinking any more than he normally does. He is conscious of the amount of times he's going as he's counting them now, despite us trying to not draw attention to it. He does tend to worry about things.

Has anyone else experienced this and was there something wrong? Thanks.
