Swine flu 'hangover' in toddler

In December my then 17-month old was diagnosed with swine flu. We gave her the meds and she got better. However, ever since then she seems to come down with every bug going. Does anyone else have any experience of this?

I was expecting this for a couple of months after but not six months later. She's not had anything truly serious but only ever seems to be well for 2-3 weeks before getting another temp / sickness bug. And every time she is ill she has very mucous-y poos (sorry, TMI).

I'd really like to know if anyone else has experienced this and whether you'd advise just to sit it out. I hate being an over-protective mother which is what I'd feel like if I kept going to the doc.

Grateful for any advice x

Think after this length of time, it wouldn't be regarded as an overprotective mother thing. Get your bum down the doctors.
