Are blood-shot eyes normal when child has chicken pox?

My daughter is a week into chicken pox. It's gone really quickly, spots scabbed over and not really any itching. However, she has had really blood shot eyes for the past 2 days.

Should I be concerned?

my DD has bloodshot yees; i was told she probably had spots on the inside of the lid. bizarrely enough, they were worst weh nthe rest of the spots were crusted over. lasted about 4 days. i have heard that conjunctivitis can be associated with chicken pox

Thanks for that.

I'd take her to GP. The type of conjunctivitis caused by spots under lid and on the cornea can cause corneal scarring and may affect eyesight. They may need looking at my opthalmologist. have a look at this
