My ds contracted the coldsore virus when he was about 15 months, and was v.ill for around 2 weeks. Since he's had a normal little coldsore every few months. He's now 8.
For the last month he's had non-stop coldsores - one goes and another massive one appears straight after, at different places around his mouth. His lips are v.swollen. I'm going to go to the GP to ask for some anti-viral medication, but wondered why this was happening. He's generally well otherwise, so far as I know. I'd be very interested in others' experience.
