My dd has astigmatism and had glasses prescribed last year
Prescription was:
Right eye - sph +1.25 cyl +2.25 axis 100
Left eye - sph +1.00 cyl +1.25 axis 95.0

This year it is
Right eye - sph +3.25 cyl -2.50 axis 10.0
Left eye - +2.00 cyl -1.25 axis 5.0

The optician said there was not much change. I don't understand these numbers but they seem very different for there not to be much change.

I will ask optician when I pick glasses up next week, but being curious for now

Ok, the prescriptions are written in two different forms.
The first is in plus cylinder form and the second is in minus cylinder form.
If you change the second one to plus cylinder form it will read:

R +0.75/+2.50 X 10
L +0.75/ +1.25 X 95

which is actually very similar to the first prescription

Hope this helps!
