Hello -My twin boys aged almost 6 have loose pooh (sorry) more often than not - of course this comes with tummy ache and harder for them to wipe properly. Is this anything to worry about? They do eat weetabix/ cheerios and have fruit & veg snacks at school and veg with their tea. They don't have fruit juice or squash as this would make it worse. Is this normal? I would feel very silly talking to the doctor about it!

Thank you.

If it's a regular thing you could start by getting them tested out for food intolerances and coeliac disease. Do they have any other symtoms apart from loose stools and tummy ache. Pale, lethargic etc.

Definitely NOT lethargic or pale - very boisterous boys...my heart sinks at the thought of food allergies- but probably worth checking out - thanks.
