3 yr DD has very smelly vagina

Over last week I have noticed she has a different smell, infact she hasn't ever smelled before.
Its unpleasant, a mix of sweaty, fishy and cheese. (Sorry)
Apparently a child had worms at nursery, could the smell be a possible link to this? She says its itchy, and she has got her hands in her bottom and vagina far more than usual, but isn't itching when dressed.
Any ideas?

Sounds like an infection of some sort, probably nothing major though. Probably not worms itself causing the smell, but if she has or had worms at the back and has scratched there then touched front, may well have passed over an infection.

It does sound like an infection. If it is antibitotics will clear it up quickly.

Could it be thrush? Have you had a look for signs of itrritation/discharge?
