Raised pimply red rash on 5 and 10 yr old DCs

Monday pm both DCs started getting a rash on their chests and tops of backs and neck. Since then its been getting worse -DD has it behind her ears, DS looks as if the bumpy texture is over his face and cheeks are quite red. Sometimes they claim it itches but not all the time.

It has a rough, pimply feel to it. Most of the spots are red but in some places they seem raised but without a colour. Spots v small and quite close together.

I'm sure they had similar when babies and GP said it was viral but I've not come across this in older children (they are 5 and 10)

Both are fine in themselves.

Is it likely to be a non-specific viral thing or is there anything I'm overlooking? (God I'm sure I knew more when they were babies but now I'm about all these various childhood illnesses)

Def not chicken pox.

bumping as DD now has the raised rash (without the redness) on her forehead so its continuing to spread.

Looked on some website and it sounds very much like Roseola but this is v unusual in over 4s apparently so maybe not (unless I have 2 v unusual cases on my hands!)?
