skin on hands and feet peeling badly

ds2(4) is shedding skin badly!its hanging off!been like this for about 2 weeks.is it ok?could it be due to lack of something in diet?

Has he been ill with a high temperature in the last month or so?

Any other symptoms? Are his feet and hands itchy or blistered?

no he says theyre fine.no blisters.just peeling badly on palms and fingets .and toes.

Normal cause is a strep throat a few weeks earlier, apparently. So he may be better NOW, having had a sore throat in March!
