Do I need to worry? Aged 8. With all his other teeth a new one has appeared within weeks.

My Ds's took an age to come through too. Doubt it's a problem, but you could ask your dentist to have a look for reassurance.

My ds' took 18 months-2 years to come through.

It was his right side and after 18 months I went to the dentist, who said he could feel it and then within months it popped through.

It's still not fully out now another year on.

Solo & Furball - thanks for replying. I think I will stop worrying and wait it out.
