DD aged 18 months, white spots over one side of tongue - looks like the tastebuds are all white - probably about 12 of them? She is dribbling a little, and has her hand in her mouth a lot, and is now chewing on her tongue. She is teething badly (we have cut three teeth in the last two weeks or so). I have read it could be thrush/foot and mouth?!!!/nothing.. not sure if to take her to the doctors tomorrow or just wait and see. She is eating fairly normally... for an 18 month old! Any help or anyone who has experience of this HUGELY appreciated! Thanks.

she's had a cold for a week, and has a mild cough still, but she's swallowing fine and was only off her food for a few days last week. She has had nurofen most days for the last week because of her teeth.... ?

yes that's it - they are all in the same place though, rather than dotted around. Sounds definitely the same. did you give her anything for it or just crack on with it? Thanks so much!
