prescription exemption slip&over the counter prescriptions??

does your prescritpion exemption slip cover you for over the counter prescriptions such as bonjela or colic relief remedies?

im sure someone told it would cover these things but cant remember for sure ?

any one know ??

would you not have to get them prescribed by the doctor first and have the actual prescription slip in order to get them for free.

our pharmacist can prescribe things for DD (16 months) for minor ailments, like eye drops, which we then get free because she is a child. Ask in the pharmacy is my advice.

we have that here too (Scotland) - ours is called the minor ailments service. I dont know what sorts of things it covers though.
