Please can anyone tell me if this is possibly the start of hell (from what I have been reading anyway).

Yesterday my 6 mth old was being held by my friend (for 10 min) who then proceeded to tell me that her DH had a tummy bug (no real D&V just mainly tummy ache and feeling like they want to D&V) and was off work. This morning 6 mth old vommed bottle.

No temp, chirpy and then reluctantly took some more milk about an hour later.

Can anyone tell me how their experiences of D&V bugs started in their babies.

Could she catch it that quickly (My friend had no symptoms herself).

I know I may sound super paranoid but we have had a hellish time of illness in my babies first 6 months(chicken pox; bronchiolitis etc etc) and really at wits end with sleep depravation so trying to do what i can at first signs of anything....not that it can do much good most of the time

Most likely coincidence. See how she goes for the rest of the day, it might be a one off and you are simply more alert for symptoms iyswim. Basic hygiene should eb enough to avoid your dc catching anything , even assuming there was anything to catch. It is pretty irrelevant what she might have been exposed to unless she exhibits the symptoms.
