I am always so worried about kids getting sick before trips...holidays are coming up I need a decent vacation! Any tips on keeping everyone well?? I am giving my little ones some immune supplements to make sure they are in top shape...elderberry & propolis. Has anyone had luck with these or anything else which helps keep illness at bay???

I work on building up strength through good foods and plenty of fresh air. I'm not a fan of supplements and prefer the Real McCoy to synthetic vitamins... daily kiwifruit is very popular in our house, for example. Other than that I keep a good stock of Calpol, Immodium, throat lozenges etc. You can't stop them catching illnesses but you can shorten the recovery time.
