Blister on DS's top lip- coldsore?!

DS has a blister right in the middle of his top lip. He is just over 8 months btw. He has been full of cold for the last couple of days also. I am really worried that it is a coldsore?? If it is a coldsore, will I have to stop breastfeeding him? I don't know if I have the heart to express 5 feeds a day I will be so so so upset if something like this stops me BFing him. Didn't know whether to put this is health or feeding, so put in both with the hope of a few responses before the next feed is due!!

Breastfed babies often have a wee blister on the middle of their top lip... caused by breastfeeding (I think they look cute!).
Though they don't usually look sore ... is it red and weeping?
Do you have a pharmacy nearby you could ask the pharmacist - they are often kind and helpful
Hope this helps

Is it actually on his lip, and the same colour but just raised? Or is it sore and weepy looking? If it is the first it is a 'seg' or a 'feeding blister' i.e. not a blister at all but just something babies (breast and bottle) get quite normally.

Thanks. I took him to the walk-in centre and they confirmed it was probably a feeding blister, phew!
