DD is 5 weeks and her left hand and halfway up her arm keep going purple then kind of a grey colour. I know babies have bad circulation but should i be concerned if it is just one hand and arm? DD also had blood tests done for infection and high calcium was found in blood and was wondering if this could have any relevance

Think you should take her to GP tomorrow. The fact that it's only in one hand and arm would make me take her to GP. Does she seems okay in herself? I guess she might have fed on that side and so the circ's not as good but could be a blockage/infection etc so would defo get it checked. If she becomes poorly tonight, take her A&E.

Are they investigating the high calcium mtp?

Did you take her back to the GP.

Just logged on and read your messages, she is booked in the gp tomorrow for her 6 week check so will tell him then. It has been happening for around 4 weeks so think it will be ok to wait till tomorrow.

Have monitored it today and it happens when she has fed and if she gets cold it goes a completly darker colour than the other one.

She is seeing a consultant regarding the calcium in 3 weeks, saggermaker do you have experience of calcium in blood?

No, not really mtp. I just wouldn't be that happy to wait. Hope you get some answers soon. I see from your other thread that she's not been well.
