DD2 is 25 weeks and had CP since Friday. She is suffering quite badly but taking it relatively well IFYSWIM.

I have noticed that her Tongue is quite coated with a yellowy White layer. She is having nurofen and calpol. To control high temp. At first I was thinking it the medicines staining her Tongue. But today I tried to spoon feed her a bit of pureed sweet potatoe and she would not open her mouth. I have only tried solids a few times and she has never resisted this much before. Do u think it's just her LOSS of appetitie or maybe the new to solids so not really interested yet thing (no real enthusiasm to date) or could CP have made her develop thrush?

Sorry for jumbled up post. Just trying to battle through CP and start weaning at the same time. As I write this I am thinking I should stop weaning till she is better anyway

sometimes they get chicken pox in their mouth and digestive system and it can go through their whole system to their vagina and willy. Both DS's had chicken pox really badly and it inflammed their willy and made their mouths really sore

She may well have thrush as well as CP because you often get thrush if you are run down for any reason e.g. an infection like CP.

Worth getting your HV to have a look.
