DD has been a bit off her feeds and has been vomiting after her feeds. My main concern is her breathing she is breathing fine through her nose but when crying etc and breathing through her mouth she can cry out but when trying to breath in she gasps and coughs and her chest rattles. Been to day unit at hospital who said her chest is clear (it is apart from when she crying), did a urine and it was abnormal so said possible uti. She has a temp to.

Has anyone elses dc had a cough, breathing difficulties from a uti??? or are they missing something

And also they said to go back if temp goes up, what shall i let it go to before taking her back?

Sorry your DD is so unwell - I think I would get back in touch tonight if her temperature remains high. There are no hard or fast rules about at what temperature you should get concerned though & it differs for different babies. Did they give something to treat the UTI with at all?

I think you are concerned - or you wouldn't be posting - so best thing to do is seek medical advice, especially as she is so young and they can get really sick really quick. Have they given you an open door policy so you can call the unit directly and don't have to go through NHS24/direct?
