Will try to get it checked at GP tomorrow but can anyone put my mind at rest. I have searched other posts and they talk about breast buds but more from newborn stage. This definitely wasn't there before - nipple isn't swollen but defintely a different colour to other one.

help?

sorry no help. My ds1 had swollen breast but he was only 5 wks old and i was breast feeding at the time so it was hormone related.

have any of his clothes rubbed him - joggers nipple?

thanks - was the nipple red? I stopped bf 3 weeks ago so it is possible its hormone related but i gather it shouldnt be red.

what did the dr say??

jasperc163 · 17/02/2010 20:14

said it was just a breast bud that had caused a bit of inflammation in surrounding tissue. Not worried and said to use ibuprofen gel on it if it seemed to be bothering her. So just going to keep an eye on it.

thanks everyone
