Swelling with Nursemaid's Elbow??

My 2.5 DD was playing with her big sister earlier and was yanked by the arm. She immediately started crying saying her arm hurt. She hasn't let us touch it and she also isn't using it but keeping it flexed against her tummy. She has since gone to bed but I know it must be still hurting her as I did try and check if it was swollen whilst she was asleep and as soon as I've moved it straight she woke up crying. Having done a bit of research on the internet it sounds like Nursemaid's Elbow but she has no swelling, bruising and the elbow joint feels the same as the other one. Would this be the case with Nursemaid's elbow?

If she is still in pain in the morning then I'll obviously take her to the GP but was just wandering if I was on the right lines thinking about nursemaid's elbow.

yep, probably a pulled elbow. Since she is in bed now take to GP or A+E if not using it normally when she wakes up. 9/10 are really easy to put back in if you know what you are doing (used to do these most days as a junior doc in A+E) but they hurt like hell until they are back so don't delay. Hopefully you have already taken her and its all sorted
