That sounds bad - doctor pronto imo

weegiemum · 08/02/2010 10:04

Just the cough I would have given it a few days, but with the temp as well, I'd make an appointment.

aahhh should I push for a today appointment or can it wait?

ArcticLemming · 08/02/2010 10:06

I'd definately go for today

Sazisi · 08/02/2010 10:08

Push for today; I don't want to panic, but it could be bronchiolitis or similar, which needs treating asap. Best to be on safe side

waitingforbedtime · 08/02/2010 10:09

I'd ask for an appointment today

countrylover · 08/02/2010 10:53

i always go after 24-48 hours of a high temp...

MerlinsBeard · 08/02/2010 10:55

We have been (great surgery)
He has a chest infection she listened to his chest front and back for ages and said she was hoping to hear it clear after he coughed but it didn't.
We have Antibiotics and she said to dose him up with calpol/ibuprofen and try to keep him rested.

Thanks for the support, I was feeling wibbly about not doing anything.

Well done Greyskull. Glad you have a good dr/ surgery - so important, especially with little ones.
