Try using a syringe (get from the chemist) to squirt it into the back corner of her mouth. Bribe with chocolate buttons. Kids antibiotics really do taste disgusting and I have had many hours of misery trying to get them to take them, so I fully sympathise.

If this doesn't work I'd suggest going back to your GP to ask if there's any other way she can take them.

I would ask the pharmacist

they put something in dd's antibiotics that made it taste different and now she will take them. I suspect it doesn't taste that different but now the antibiotics are 'special' because they have been adapted especially for her

at that age, when dd had a UTI, I had to promise a chocolate button after each spoon successfully taken (like alaraspree!). I know she is only 3 but I would try and explain that the medicine will make her feel better and without it, you will have to take her back to the doctor (though she may not get it!).
