My 16 mo DS was diagnosed with 'probable' roseola yest, ticks all the boxes in terms of symptoms but he has been really unwell since boxing day and the general concensus it that it is a fairly innocuous bug. Although on the mend now he is still covered in a rash, irritable, clingy and just not himself. We had to take a trip to hosp on monday because he had a very high temp that wasnt responding to nurofen/calpol etc. Anyone else had this? Am worried as supposed to be working away for 5 days on 1st and cant leave him like this!!! (btw he was given penicillin at hosp which he was taken off yest in case the rash was allergic reaction) so not on any meds now.
