dd2 (9) has had quite a few viral infections since September onwards.She has also been on antibiotics once or twice incase what she had wasn't viral.
However,came off her antibiotics last week and within a couple of days all her symptoms (sore throat,cough,painful ears,headache etc)came back so doc told me that was probably cos it was viral...."antibiotics wouldn't have touched it".
anyway,what's worrying me is that her hearing in one of her ears has been coming and going (is deaf for a few days and then ok again).Unfortunately,this time,she's been deaf for about a week now constantly.I've frightened myself to death(googling)but just wondered if anyone else's kids have temporarily lost their hearing due to viral infection?
