DS 15mo a bit wheezy - can he still go swimming?

He's had a bit of a chesty cough the past week. No temp, but first thing in the morning always sounds phlegmy. It's now late mornin and he still sounds wheezy as though he hasn't coughed it all up.

It's his last swimming lesson this term, just wondering if I'm being over cautious in not taking him.

He sounds like my DD. I wouldn't take him. She has atopic allergy and "vegetations" which means she breathes with her mouth open at night and everything goes down the throat rather than through the nose if she catch a cold which end up with chesty coughs...
the chlorine in the pool will make it worse if it is that, and it will increased his chance to catch something else on top of it. The wheeziness might need to be checked by GP if still there on monday (to make sure there is no beginning of bronchitis, which seems unlikely as no fever)
If it is not that he might have a virus and will pass it along to his classmate
