After your childs squint operation, how long was their eye swollen for?

DD had hers 12 days ago and the the redness has 95% gone, but her eye seems smaller than the other one, and I think the eye lid looks swollen

Should I leave it till thurs when it will be 2 weeks and the cream finishes and if still swollen maybe give the hospital ? or Docs? a call?

Or do you think I need to wait longer?

Not hugely bothering her. Has SN so its hard for her to tell me exactly how it feels. But she does rub it sometimes but not loads

thanks in advance for any advice

I had an op for squint as 8yo child & I don't remember any swelling.
I would ring now 2 talk thru your concerns.

DS had squint op when he was 4 and the eye itself was red for a week or two afterwards (i.e. the white of his eye) but I don't think he had any swelling. I'd give the doc a call if I were you, just in case it needs looking at.
