She doesn't have a UTI - I took a sample of wee to be checked at the doctor's last week. She is very happy at school so there's no problem there. Can anyone suggest any other reason for it? I am going to take her to the doctor, I really don't want her to be teased by the other children

Hi
I do know how you feel - my dd was still having a couple of accidents when she was 6 at school. Usually it was because she had an UTI. It might be worth talking to teacher as i found out that they sometimes dont let them go to the loo when the teacher doesnt think it is an appropriate time, e.g. just after a break as "they should have gone during break". Not always easy when you are little - when you need to go you need to go! I did get quite angry when i found this out and told the teacher that she must let her go when she needed to go.
It did all get sorted out and my dd who is now 8 hasnt had any "accidents" for a couple of years now.
Hope you get things sorted out.

Thanks Daisy. Took her back to the doctor who was very vague about what it might be but has given her a course of anti-biotics in case it is a low grade UTI. Hope it helps, poor thing School have been very sympathetic and said that if dd needs the loo she can just go, she doesn't even need to ask.
