help my ds2 dentist gave me a fright

my ds2 is 3 ,hes been ill for a week hes had all antibx ,hes ben to the dentists today as ive noticed all hs gums are really red and inflamed ,and bleeding ,so took him to the dentists and he said hes never seen a child like this and gave him some corsodyl 1% gel ,and said it could be caused by heart probs etc as any body heard of this i came home in tears ,and dentists on here whith any advice

dentists opticians etc all have ways of spotting things that may be potentially serious but also may not be but point this out for you to get checked with gp i wouldn't panic but i would take to gp for a check up they can listen to heart etc there and then or it could be his genuinely unwell and this is the cause either way go and get checked

i wouldn't go automatically thinking the worst but i would follow up from that advise from dentist to see gp

my dentist says he will have to refur him to our local clinic /or st james in leeds but said dont panic ,easy said than done eh ?
