She turned 12 on Saturday she has had:

A virus - about 10 days ill
Noro - 4 days
Tonsillitis - 7 days
D&V - 1/2 a day
Chest infection - currently on day 3

She also had bad reaction to the swine flu jab

She has a touch of asthma which is usually under control, but not atm

GP says she is not anaemic

So what else can I do for her?

Have replied on your other thread.. is she on ABs I'm assuming? as you prob know they affect digestion and nutrition intake, it just can keep the cycle going. Hope she's better from the chest infection soon then, yes I would go with something stronger than a multivit. Also this might not be possible but when she's "better" I would keep her in bed two or three days and do a proper convalescence so she doesn't wear herself out again too quickly.

Would also go with the full bloods if you can.

That will go down well at school - but I think you are right

She is supposed to be competing at Blackpool this weekend but I think we will have to cancel it - her dad will be gutted never mind how DD will deal with it

Sorry she is on amoxy, with the promise of steroids if she doesn't get better in a couple of days

Poor girl. It's awful missing a significant activity. Tbh I would be giving big doses of vit C right now but maybe that's just me. You can google (or ask the doc I guess!) which drugs Vit C can inhibit the action of -- I just did, and amoxy wasn't on the list, but you know, you could check it out. I mentioned zinc on the other thread too but really am not medical in any way, just keen on nutrition, so they're just suggestions you might look into.

Also, and I KNOW this is just me, I would be limiting v much the paracetamol and letting any fever do its job.
