Just seen this tonight in ds. He doesn't seem overly bothered by it, although he has been chewing his fists for a while, and isn't very interested in his dummy.

He doesn't have a temperature, but feels hotter than normal.

ANy ideas? Will take him to GP tomorrow, but don;t want to waste her time if this is normal!!

Where is it? On his lips or in his mouth?

roslily · 22/11/2009 19:31

In his mouth, on bottom left, sort of between inside of lip and gum.

Have you ever used toothpaste? That can sometimes cause mouth ulcers, but at 11 weeks, I would imagine she hasn't yet got any teeth?

belgo · 22/11/2009 19:34

He not she sorry!

roslily · 22/11/2009 19:35

Not used any toothpaste, and no teeth yet!

Hand, foot and mouth disease?

More here

belgo · 22/11/2009 19:37

Hand foot and mouth is a virus that can cause mouth ulcers. I agree, see what the doctor says.
