baby asleep in squishy chair, toddler (nearly 3) toppled backwards and sat down on end of chair - we think mainly between baby's legs but may have been pelvis area. As resilient as they say? Seems fine - was not woken from sleep and legs in full working order

Baby would cry if s/he was hurt.

Try not to worry.

So, the baby didn't wake up...? That should tell you something

ilikeyoursleeves · 21/11/2009 19:03

My toddler squashes the baby all the time- tonight he was leaning on top of his tea set which was on top of the baby

Baby just sits and coos or laughs at him!

I'm sure your baby is fine, he would scream if he was hurt!

Thanks both - I know you're right. Am feeling very hormonal. I'm sure it happens a lot.......

They're hugely resilient. And they bounce

DD sort of sat down - dropped to the floor as they do - on DS1's head when he was lying on his mat on the floor, not very old at all. I think he did cry, but not for long, and mainly in shock. He was fine.

Thanks everyone - you eased my PSB anxiety and she is fine today - very loud and naughty two-week old, so can't be much wrong with her
