How to persuade 18 month old to take her medicine

My 18 month old DD has a chest infection and is refusing to take her antibiotics. I have tried with both a syringe and spoon and bribing with chocolate buttons but i'm not having any success. She is so unwell she really needs to have her medicine. Anyone got any tips?

I often mix it into a little milk or a yoghurt.

Thanks that is a good idea she rarely turns down yoghurt.

Hide the syrup in a really delicious chocolate mousse type thing or a naughty sickly sweet yoghurt that will hide the flavour and make a bi deal out the 'treat' being really special so she wants to have it.
