Does this sound like anything I ought to take to the dr?

DD2 (nearly 5):

Sick twice in the night on Friday night - 12am and 1am.

Slight tummy ache and headache and exhaustion all day on Saturday.

Completely her normal self on Sunday, except for having the runs in the evening (not unusual for her, she seems to have some sort of IBS so has the runs every now and then - no pain or other symptoms).

Woke in the middle of the night to have the runs Sunday night, and then was sick 1/2hr later and again at 2am and 3.30am.

Nothing since, except general lethargy and a slight tummy ache.

I'm concerned that she's been sick two nights but with a whole 36h inbetween - very odd.

Any thoughts?

Sorry - should be 48h in between vomitting episodes.

I would phone your gp or give nhsdirect a ring to check.

Wouldn't bother with NHS Direct, I have to say. Ringing GP a good idea - might be able to get a telephone appointment.

I wouldnt be too concerned atm but would give her another day or two and see how she is.

Make sure you give her plenty of fluids meantime.

If you are worried, you can phone NHS direct.
