DS2 is 7.5 months. Today he's had four really odd pooey nappies, with streaks of blood. The poo itself is also a pale green colour.
He had his first taste of meat (chicken) yesterday, so I'm wondering if that is to blame. I also wonder if he is slightly cows milk protein intolerant, but the GP and HV dismiss the idea.
This also happened about a month ago and we saw the GP who didn't comment on a cause, just told me to keep an eye on it and referred us to a paed. But that appt is not until 1st Dec.
Has anyone else had this with their DCs? If so what was the cause?

has he had strawberries? I remember a friend of mine taking her baby to hospital thinking it was blood in the nappy and turned out to be strawberries.

It's definitely blood, sadly. Hasn't had strawberries or any other 'red' food recently.
I'll try to get him a GP appt tomorrow but they were fully booked today.
