8 week old baby very pale and sleepy

OUr 8 week old baby has slept almost all day. She was a wake for a couple of hours this morning and again for les than an hour - just long enough for a feed and a cuddle - at lunchtime.

She's normally awake and feeding more than this.

Should I be worrying?

Some babies are very sleepy but I would wake her to feed her at least 3 hourly. If you are worried ring your gp and take her to see them before they close today. Just to put your mind at rest.

Has she had normal nappies? Does she feel hot? Is her breathing normal?

You are obviously concerned, and it's very hard to know if there is anything to be concerned about, but I think you should ring your GP as poshtottie suggests. You can never be too careful with such a tiny baby.
