Yes, we have had a tummy upset weekend, with DD (aged 2.10) vomiting once a day for three days.

Now, she tells me she is really hungry (she has just eaten some dry bread so far).

What's the best bet for her to eat? she doesn't want anymore dry toast or bread....

Dry cereal is good - we use cheerios.

Apple or banana.

I was always given scrambled egg as the first proper meal after vomiting as a child. I do the same for my dcs - egg is quite digestible I think.

Avoid fat/dairy/meat is what we usually do for the first 24 hours.

I usually go down the dry toast/dry plain cereal(rice crispies/cornflakes)/ palin biscuit/cracker route and make sure that stays down. Then plain food - rice, chicken, mashed potato, plain fish. If that works it's back to normal. Good luck!!
