they look like nettle stings. Is it a form of nappy rash? They do not hurt her when touched. Any advice?

Hello. My 20 mo DD has had this type of nappy rash, although sometimes it was accompanied by very red, hot skin and was very painful indeed. I can't offer much advice except washing with cotton wool and water, and trial and error with various creams sorted out DD's rash - sometimes the winner was thrush cream other times metanium cream - always with liberal amounts of castor oil and zinc cream covering the whole area too. Oh, and lots of nappy off time to get lots of fresh air around the bum area. It might be worth getting a GP/HV opinion.
