Weird... teeth coming through in my 6yo, behind his other ones!

He's had two wobbly ones at the front for ages - well about 2-3months now, it was well before the holidays.

The ones coming through though are already quite advanced, and have pushed the wobbly ones forwards so they are fairly horizontal and rubbing together! He says it is hurting, the last few days, so I hope this means they will drop out - but meanwhile the new adult teeth look really skewed, leaning out at an angle away from each other.

I wonder if I need to take him to the dentist or whether they will straighten up once the baby teeth bugger orf?

My ds is like this (just 5).
One coming throguh and pushing 2 bottom ones forward.
I'm off to dentist next week.

Both my DS's had this.
If it is a comfort DS1 has the most beautiful teeth now (teenager) so it is not a problem long term.
Do get your dentist to have a proper look and x-ray etc as poor old DS2 had some come through the roof of his mouth . The dentist didn't find them initially

This does happen quite a lot apparently. Some people take their DC to the dentist but I didn't when it happened to DS1 and his teeth have straightened up all by themselves.

I wouldn't think there is much point going to the dentist unless the baby ones don't fall out (sounds like your DS's will do any time soon) or most of the adult teeth have come through and they haven't straigtened themselves out.

If my teeth are anything to go by, they can also come through straight and still end up wonky when other, later, teeth come through so I am not sure that the dentist would be able to do anything about it for a few years.

They will straighten. DD1 (8) only lost her first teeth last year, she had her adult teeth through way before that. As soon as she lost her milk teeth her new teeth moved forward to where they should be. She has had quite a few teeth come through before milk teeth fall out. To date she has still only lost 5 teeth.
