dd1 (11)came downstairs with a lump not quite on her elbow bone...but close to it

it was very itchy so i put some AfterBite on it.not sure though if it's a lump or a cyst...or-god forbit-something more serious. anyone know anything about this?

If it is itchy it does sound like an insect bite. I had a huge itchy lump on my arm that was a bite and my gp recommended Anthisan cream. A dab of tea tree oil can also be effective as well.

If it has come up quickly I would think it is unlikely to be anything sinister but if it doesn't seem to be a bite and you are worried I would get it checked out.
