I'm glad you are getting a break from the worst of it.Hopefully DD will get into the bath tonight.

Try getting a hold of calamine aqueous (sp?) cream, it's a very thick, cooling cream and really soothed Ds when he had the pox last year. I kept mine in the fridge and was slathering it on him every couple of hours during the day - I went through two tubs of it in three days!

My ds was like this (but not quite as extreme) for a couple of nights with chickenpox. He hadn't taken Piriton then, though I did wonder if it was the Ibuprofen.

christiana does a bath soothe her? if so can recommend putting in chamomile tea bags. Also add 10 drops of lavender oil, 10 drops of chamomile oil and 10 drops of tea tree oil to the calamine cream. Really helps with the itching and healing.
